nFront Ventures, Eight Roads, Atomico and Balderton are excited to invite you to an interactive session on how to navigate the processes of venture fundraising.

Featuring a talk and a panel with international VC investors, we give an overview of the do’s and don'ts when seeking capital from funds abroad.

In the panel, we dive deeper into current market dynamics and their fundraising implications, as well as generally explore the best practices of storytelling towards VC funds.

We aim to make the session as interactive and helpful to the audience as possible, so we encourage guests to ask questions throughout. There will also be time for a Q&A and mingling towards the end.

If you are an entrepreneur looking for insights on how to attract strong international investors, and get a nuanced view into how such investors evaluate prospective investments, please save the date.

Speakers and Panelists

Andreas Mjelde - Two Andreas is the CEO and founder of Two, the leading B2B payments solution in the UK and the Nordics. Prior to Two, Andreas founded Linio, the second largest B2C product market place in Spanish speaking Latam, and worked as a consultant at McKinsey.

Andreas Helbig - Atomico Andreas is a Principal at Atomico, focussing on sourcing deals in the Nordic and Baltic regions, and diving deep into a wide array of B2B topics, including SMB SaaS, AI-based enterprise SaaS, and B2B Marketplaces. Andreas first joined the Berlin-based VC Project A as an intern during his Master’s degree, where he caught the entrepreneurship bug. After a total of 5.5y at Project A, Andreas moved on to join Atomico in mid 2020, where he continues to focus on the Nordics and Baltics and/or B2B companies, with a soft spot for all things SMB SaaS, SaaS with an AI component, and B2B Marketplaces.

Martin Ericsson - Eight Roads Martin is an investor in the Eight Roads Ventures Europe team. Originally from Sweden, Martin leads Eight Roads Ventures efforts in the Nordics and is focused on sourcing new investments, lead new investments and working with existing portfolio companies to help them scale. Among others, he’s been part in leading Eight Roads Nordic investments in Tibber and Funnel. Martin joined Eight Roads in 2016 from Lazard where he worked in the M&A TMT team.

Henni Roini - Balderton Henni is an Investor at Balderton focusing on Nordic & Baltic companies. She has a background in B2B SaaS and has worked with all areas of go-to-market. Before joining Balderton, she worked at HubSpot leading the English demand generation in Europe. As a Finn, she has been an active part of the local initiatives such as Slush, the startup conference, and Junction, the hackathon.

Magnus Gaarder - nFront Ventures Magnus is a technology-focused venture capitalist, with a background in investment banking and computer science. As the Founding Partner of nFront, Magnus brings operational support and capital to companies across various stages of development. nFront’s focus is on game-changing, capital efficient, software propositions based in Europe or the U.S. Prior to nFront, Magnus was an Investment Manager at VC fund Nauta Capital in London, and an early team member at M&A boutique Portico Capital's European arm. He started his career as an M&A-focused investment banker in New York. Magnus has an educational background in computer science and finance from UPenn and NTNU, specialized in machine learning and financial engineering.
